Tunisia Travel Guide is the website of the travel agency “Depart Travel Services”. By using our site, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

One of our main priorities is clarity and transparency towards our customers. This terms and conditions document contains the kinds of information you should know about how we work.

These terms and conditions apply to all our activities, excursions and tours.

For activities :

Procedure

1.1 Our agency provides pick-up (in Djerba) to and from your hotel to the place of the activity.

2.1 The person who will accompany you during the activities does not necessarily speak your language perfectly. She is there to show you the paths, techniques, itineraries and ensure your safety. She will probably make herself understood but is not obliged to have perfect practice of your language. (This mainly concerns horse riding, camel, quad, buggy, jetski, parachute, etc.)

Cancellation and Refund

1.1 You understand that each activity reserved by a client requires our side a financial and moral commitment with other service providers, (the preparation of a vehicle, the contact of a driver and a guide approved by the office of Tunisian tourism), and of course all this implies costs that we will pay even if you cancel your trip (or at least we will pay part of it). SO:

If you completely cancel your journey to Tunisia for any reason, Tunisia Travel Guide will gladly reimburse you in full. On the other hand, if you decide to cancel your outing just because you don’t care about all the work we do to ensure you the best of our services, or that you have found cheaper, Tunisia Travel Guide will deduct 50% of the amount that you would have paid. But there will be no refund for 3-day tours and more.
1.2 Our activities may be canceled due to weather conditions or force majeure. In this case they will be postponed to the next day (or the day after) under the same conditions as the initial activities. Otherwise you will be 100% refunded.
1.3 Some activities require a minimum number of participants to take place. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, our agency reserves the right to cancel the activity.

Pricing

2.1 Adults: Adults pay 100%.
2.2 Children under 10 yo : Children under 10 benefit from a 50% reduction if accompanied by 2 adults.
2.3 Babies (0-1.99 years): Free of charge.

For excursions

3. Minimum Number of Participants

3.1 Our excursions require a minimum of 4 participants to run. You can therefore find yourself with other participants in the same vehicle. (This will have no impact on your accommodation for example. We are just talking about transport.) If the number of 4 people is not reached and you do not agree to pay a supplement, our agency reserves the right to cancel the trip.

Pricing for Children

4.1 Children pay the same rate as adults as they occupy a full seat in the vehicle.

Cancellation by the Customer

5.1 Day trips : Cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before departure.
5.2 2-day excursions: Cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before departure.

Excursions of 3 days or more: All confirmations are final as we have to pay our partners (accommodation, guides, restaurants, etc.).

Payment

6. Payment is made through our secure online payment system. Please be sure to provide the necessary payment information securely.
You will have the possibility of paying the total amount or just a 30% acount.

Modifications

8. Modifications by the Agency

8.1 Our agency reserves the right to modify the dates of activities or excursions in case of unfavorable weather conditions or force majeure. We will inform you of any modifications as soon as possible and provide alternatives if necessary.
